1.5 Years.

One and a half.

A couple of days ago, on September 9th, 2016, Bram and I set a lunch date at my all-time favourite restaurant in the world. We ordered the same menu we always get, and laughed about how we're able to tolerate each other for 1.5 years now. It might seem like an easy-peasy, small number of years to some of you, but Bram and I have never been in a longer relationships and the fact that we're still here despite countable little fights, is mesmerising. 

It's honestly lovely to have somebody to direct the newest gossips to, someone to tell about my frustration with work, studies, parents, and also somebody to ask when I need opinions on what shall I improve in my work, or as little as which hairstyle looks better on me. I grew up with 3 little sisters you see, growing up I talked more to diaries than my own mother. I have a lot of friends, and I'm happy Bram could serve as a friend too. 

So hopefully, here's to more celebratory lunches, self-timer portraits and "I'm proud of you"s, as we stand by each other's side while ticking the boxes on our list of goals.

ZOEVA Rose Golden Luxury Set Review

Hello people! 

Today I will talk about my new set of babies. Yes, babies.

When I received this, I kind of died and have been resurrected solely to create this blogpost and tell you. 

If you aren't aware, according to its website Zoeva is:

If you still aren't aware, they make bomb-as make up brushes.

I have been eyeing this set for the looongest time since miss Zoe Sugg talked about the brand in her vlogs. The rosegold/black handle is too beautiful to comprehend, and the bristle, oh the bristle, are so soft, they make me love life.

(I stored this in my bag for like a week before taking its photos and it got scratches and I will regret that decision for as long as i shall live.)

 and this above, ladies in gentlemen, the brush that have forever changed my life. 

OH MY GOD, it blends foundation like a dream. It makes me evaluate what I have been doing wrong with my foundation routine all of my life (by that I meant the last three years because yo' girl knows nothing about makeup before college. HAHA!)

FIRST OF ALL, how are you liking the new simple design of the blog?

aaaah, I've been working hard on it and I hope everyone likes it!

We're back to fasting 13/24 for a whole month and it can't be more exciting!

Seeing people get ready to break their fast with their loved ones, then coming to masjid to pray.. everything is so rewarding, seeing it only happens once a year.

Nazneen, Noreen and I wanted to go out for a bit before preparing fasting break at home, so we went to a mall nearby our house for a few hours.
