(PUA) S A T U R D A Y !

 Happy sunday everyone!
FIRST OF ALL, how are you liking the new simple design of the blog?
aaaah, I've been working hard on it and I hope everyone likes it!

We're back to fasting 13/24 for a whole month and it can't be more exciting!
Seeing people get ready to break their fast with their loved ones, then coming to masjid to pray.. everything is so rewarding, seeing it only happens once a year.
Nazneen, Noreen and I wanted to go out for a bit before preparing fasting break at home, so we went to a mall nearby our house for a few hours.

Grunge 90's Style

I cannot tell you how excited I am, when I came to know that the 90s is making a comeback! From the Choker, to high-waisted shorts, casual t-shirts to off-the-shoulder tops. Everything is p e r f e c t.

feelin like ' s u p e r s t a r s '

Hello, so this post wasn't planned.
I had a little photo shoot session with my sister because dad wants to frame our faces on the new frames he'd just bought. So, we had a bit of fun taking more photos than needed.

Graduation Look

HEY EVERYONE!
I havent blogged in forever!
I thought that I'd catch up with you.. well where to begin?
I got a new vlogging camera, and the quality is so much better than my old one!
So I hope it would help me vlog + blog better!
Dress is bought two years ago, I've forgotten what the store was.
Wedges: Payless
Handbag: Michael Kors Medium Sutton Satchel
Watch: Swatch
Stone Bracelet: GodForbeads (Instagram: @godforbeads)

A few weeks ago I went to this guy's graduation! Proud of him for what he has achieved. Being 1 of only 3 graduates from his whole batch took time and dedication, I watched firsthand how hard he worked on his final tasks, well deserved!
Thought I'd blog about it because the occassion's pretty important, and beautiful to miss.

my friend Dhila also graduated, I'm very proud of her!

Triangl Bikini Review

So, a package came in the mail with my Triangl bathers in it!
So, if you don't already know, there's a huge hype surrounding the brand Triangl when we're talking about bikini. Basically, I'm going to do a review of this bikini today!

Type & Colour :
The style that I went for is called Chloe. I like this style in particular because my bra is between 34B/C, so this style would give it enough coverage, support, and is also adjustable.
I couldn't decide the colour because everything just look so exquisite, so I asked B to choose a colour from the Triangl website and he liked Santa Rosa Splash best, and honestly, the blue is so beautiful and I do think it's one of their best.
But honestly, all the colours are so pretty.

Material :
All the bikini sold by Triangl is known to be made of 100% neoprene,
it is the same material as diving suits.
the neoprene is thick yet so soft, and you can tell that the suit is very well made.
Sizing :
now, the sizing could be complicated because the thing is with Neoprene, if it doesn't fit, IT DOESN'T FIT. But luckily, they have a live chat on their website with people that would help you decide on the sizing. I met a girl called Annie who was very helpful in deciding my size.
So, I was originally interested in both Chloe & Winnie, but Annie from Triangl said that the Chloe would suit my size best. She recommended the size M and honestly it fits perfectly when I tried it on.

Coverage:
if you're wondering if your nips will be visible when it gets a little chilly, I personally haven't tried using it in the pool yet, but from other reviews, blog post, videos and stories, it is thick enough not to expose your nipple to the world, but hey, let's see.
pros :
  • The material doesn't stretch
  • apparently the colour won't fade
  • very well made in terms of stitching and materials
  • website is informative enough + good service
  • numerous choices of style and colours
  • prestige
cons :
  • most of the styles aren't adjustable
  • if the sizing is chosen incorrectly, it won't fit due to the non-stretchy fabric
  • it takes a while to dry
  • the bag's stitching is quite shitty tbh, don't count on it
  • quite pricey for a pair of bikini
Over all, I'm in love with my new bathers,
it's super beautiful and hopefully I'll have a good run with it.

What's your favorite style from the Triangl line?

Rainy Days

 RAINY SEASON IS HERE!!
Am I excited? I could lie and say, "nah, it's aight." but I could also not lie and tell you that yassss, I like it when it's drizzling outside and I'm on holiday so I don't have to drag myself out of bed and just sit there and enjoy the rain for hours.
I'm trying to be productive and finally use my *cough*beauty*cough* channel for something other than a subscriber-less decoration on my main channel, and put together a simple Rainy Days Lookbook which will be uploaded very soon I promise.
There'll be a few outfits and this is one of them.
I paired a see-through collared blouse with a short cardigan (with a hole in the armpit area apparently), flare skirt and a hat. I think that this is warm enough for Tropical countries' rainy days. I also wear simple white socks and simple wedges you can get basically anywhere.
Top - Adda

Cream Cardigan - H&M
Blue Flare Skirt - Forever 21
Hat - Thrifted
Cream Shoes - A Gift

It's fun, like dancing in the rain!
Hope everyone is safe and enjoying the breeze!

Pretty City & Finnish Junk Food

A few days. ONLY four more days left here. I don't know how I feel about this at the moment. All I know is that there's only so much this small city has got to offer, and I have just so little time to try getting all of them ticked. The weather has changed somehow drastically in these past few days. The wind blows a lot harder, everything is a lot colder, the sun sets earlier and takes longer to rise. There are days that I really don't want to go out unless I have to. There's no excuses when we've got this little time though! We went out pretty late as I went to bed really really late the previous night (technically earlier morning) but we did get to go to a few places though! I tried the famous Hesburger and got chicken nuggets, which was lovely.
White T-Shirt - Divided (H&M)
Jacket - EDC Esprit
Blue Jeggins - CoolJeans
Boots - Caprice

Nazneen's Jacket - Oakley
My adorable new bag from H&M! It's so thin that it fits everywhere, and so big that everything fits in it!
My awesome dinner, Finland's finest Hesburger's Chicken Nugget with Curry Mayonnaise Dip-Sauce!
How's your week been?
Mine's been a little heart-breaking, fully exhausting, nerve-wracking and packed.
I've been very moody for some reason, sometimes I'm all "YES! Living life at the moment! I'm so excited! Yes!" but then again there are a lot of moments this week that made me just want to bawl my eyes out. I guess it's because I've always been that girl who stays inside her comfort zone in terms of traveling and all that, once I'm settled, it's really hard for me to leave it. BUT I NEED TO. So I'll try as hard as I can to be positive. That's be my resolution for the upcoming month. (:

How's your week been?

Rainy Day Pancakes

I have exactly a week left in this gorgeous city.
A week left to freeze waiting for bus,
A week left saying there's nothing much to do here,
A week left to run down to grocery store when I run out of milk,
A week left staying up until three hoping there's northern lights,
A week left to walk down the street smiling to myself, grateful for this insane opportunity that I might not get if I had chosen that I won't go to this one old university I've never heard of. It's crazy how much things change in a year, I'm not one of those people who brags about their school, but I can see good future for IPMI IBS.

Meanwhile here,
I got stung by a bee (left hand, index finger, right onto my bone! haha) but I wasn't going to waste my time inside the apartment 24/7, no matter how cold and rainy it was outside and how hilariously massive my index finger has became.
We took a few people's recommendation and went to get the famous pancakes everyone's been raving about!
I heart LA shirt from JunkFood

Dark Blue Jeggings from CoolJeans

I'm going to seize the moment.
I am not the happiest, content person I know, but I will try, not for anyone but myself. I've always been a curious person, but often my fears force me to neglect great chances coming my way.
I will try to let it know that it's not in control of me.

Autumn is Here

I love this blurry photo Tanya took of me.
And just like that, a month passed by.
I've grown to love this city more than I should or thought I would. I've never experienced the beauty of Autumn before, I can now legitimately say that it is beautiful. I'm not even going to pretend like I'm not gasconading my experience, leaving people with the feeling of wanting and jealousy only help them to go after something and that's always good.
I fell in love with the season the day I refuse to be saxicolous, the moment I stepped outside for fresh air and found that as the wind blows my hair softly in the middle of the woods, the sound was more than a feeble whistle, I looked up and there were leaves, flying around like thousands of orange and pink butterflies. The branches waved gently, reminded me of a mother saying goodbye to her kids as they leave to find their own adventures. It was intimate, it was like the whole ecosystem surrounding me just paused and enjoyed that one small beautiful moment.
Neen, Tan & I found ourselves in a beautiful park today and took a few photos, it was such a wonderful park, I had to share some of the shots I took and Tan took of me.

Biggest Kebab Ever!

A few of my friends have commented on all the foodgasm photos I've posted on several social medias that everything in Finland seems bigger than the rest of the planet. Haha, they have not seen how small Oulu is. But the food here are indeed massive in size but most are so worth it. Take this amazing amazing kebab for an example, I could've sworn I've never had any better Kebab in my life. My friends and I have gone here twice now, and we saved up to come again since a week ago. Although the guy who owns the restaurant is Turkish, this still makes me really want to go to Turkey and try like an authentic Turkish Kebab. Yum.
I also went to H&M and got a really nice blue knitted top and a few other things!
I had on my usual CoolJeans Jeggings with my Caprice Boots, Sparkle & Fade Top and a long H&M Cardigan that I really like because it gives your curvy body shape and that longer look.
I had a terrible headache that I skipped make up, any hair enhancements and just grabbed my Gold Watch from Guess to accessorize my appearance a little bit.

Blooming Saturday

Honestly, how stunning are these purple flowers? I was absolutely charmed. Saturday by our flat is quite flat, if you know what I mean. The boys wake up at noon, after I had gotten the opportunity to run and get some groceries in the morning.
In all honesty, even back home, I despise staying home in the weekend. I believe that resting doesn't always mean staying in bed all day, it means going out freely with nothing much to worry about. I insisted to go out with the girls, so we went around the city and had such a lovely day!
Oulu, Finland doesn't have too much things or places to visit, but we checked out the church for Tanya today, someone was getting married, it was pretty cool, but we couldn't go inside due to the occasion. So, we went to Subway instead, saw a few other lovely spots, watched the sunset and went back when it was getting dark. I loved it.

Although it was really cold today, I'm glad I insisted to go out, I'm sure the others feel the same. Time goes on, I often lay awake late at night on my bed and wish I was at the same place I was the day before. I've learned that moments are meant to be cherished, life's too short to regret everything.
