2014 Wish List

Hello Random Citizen!

I've never done a general wish list on this blog (I did a make up wish list half a year ago.) Since it's still January, sort of, I thought that it's sort of appropriate to make a little wish list. 

These are the things that I'd like to own in 2014 or if not, later in life,

1. Canon D600 Camera

Obviously I use my camera a lot, and as much as I love my 500d, it'd be a little bit easier to make videos with camera with a view finder. This camera is literally no different than mine if it weren't for the view finder. I'm still debating on whether or not I should get one.

2. iPhone 5

Currently my phone is the 4/4s, I don't know the difference, but it's almost 2 years old and it's starting to lag a lot. I've never stuck to one phone for more than 1 year, the reason is because the fast pace of changes in technology is too hard to miss out. I don't know why iPhones have to be so expensive, why can't they be like Nokia.

3. Alexander Wang Black Rocco

OMG, I've wanted this for aaaaaaaages, but it's too damn expensive that I don't feel like I, as a human being that does nothing buy procrastinate, deserve it. It's such a gorgeous bag that I would trade one of my kidneys with. Not really, but you know what I mean.

4. Memory Hard Disk

I create a lot of videos and photos and my laptop is starting to lag because of over saved content I have in it. Thus, it would be very convenient to empty this bad boy so it can run again!

5. Hair-straightener

My hair is as bad as a bat nest most of the time, I need to tame it! I've wanted this for the longest time, but I'm concerned of how damaging it could be. My hair gradually falls like rain already. 

6. (More) Toms Shoes

I want more Toms! That bastard, ever since I own a pair, nothing else ever please me. They treat my feet like queens and I like it. I think the red one is adorable, what do you reckon?

7. White Converse

I used to have a few pairs of converse, I'd like to have them back in my collection, best shoes ever.

8. Nars Duo Blush-Bronzer

I own a little more varieties of makeup than I probably should or need, thus I only have a few things I'd like in this wish-list. This duo is absolutely amazing, my cousin owns one and I fell in love with it.

9. The NAKED Palette

I've already owned the Basic Naked Palette, and have been absolutely loving it. Why does it have to be so expensive though.

10. Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer

The only reason this isn't allover my whole life is because it's only available in the UK. I've heard such great things about this, it isn't so pricey either. If only it's available in my country.

"New Year, New Me" ?

Happy happy new year to you!

It's been a couple week since the beginning of 2014 (yes, I wrote 2013 before rewriting it, force of habit ladies and gentlemen) Yet lately I've been losing the connection I used to have with my blog, which is sort of sad. Now I am one of those who laughs at people posting photos with the hashtag/caption "New Year, New Me" because I personally think that if you don't like anything about yourself, change it right away or don't, you don't need to wait for a whole new year to do so. 

But regardless, New Year just gives such a "Clean Slate" vibes that you should take advantage of. I personally feel like I get to enhance some parts of myself, not make it new, just better. Obviously 2013 was sort of amazing, I got to travel to amazing countries and started a youtube channel and THIS BLOG. Get to interact with a lot of strangers in the internet that keep me motivated to challenge my creativity that was on the edge of disappearance. What I'd like to achieve this year would be to travel more, since my country, Indonesia, has got more than 17,000 islands, I'd like to try seeing a little more than just the big cities in Java this year. If I can. I'd like to be more independent and organized, and then of course to continue with my channel and blog, I think that it's a good way to learn about consistency.  I'd like to meet more people and befriend them because I don't have friends. Haha. And I'd like to be more happy this year. I need positivity in my life. 

More like "NEW YEAR, NEW THINGS" am I right? 

I got a couple new things for myself, that Lee Cooper Jeans top, a vintage looking camel top with collar that looks adorable, a reglan tshirt from Esprit, and my best friend, Sarah, got me a shirt that says "Shut the front J'dore" which had me laughing for a good minute and that amazing amazing perfume from Police that's shaped like a Skull. I absolutely love anything skull-ish.

Starbucks decided to give me this out of nowhere, I already have one and see no point in buying two, but hey, who doesn't love free stuff, right? (; I think the barista said that I topped up to a certain amount, therefore I get one of those. Well, I do like my coffee. (:

I have recently finished reading an amazing novel called Divergent and have just bought the sequel, "Insurgent" So I am quite psyched to read it! Divergent's got to be my favorite novel of the year, I was just so hooked on it that I finished it in a few days only. If you're looking for a thrilling read, I'd recommend the book!

My Little Sister does My Make Up

Dearest Readers,
I'm genuinely sorry I've been a complete arse, not writing nor posting anything whatsoever for a month. I have not forgotten about you, or this little diary of mine. Life has been pretty hectic for me, between scrolling down the endless pages of Tumblr during every class I have, to mid-term, to figuring out what videos I shall make for every week. I didn't know how handful this things are. Man, being a child trapped in a grown-up world sucks.

Anyways, although my channel on Youtube is pretty random, I couldn't stay away from Make Up altogether. Every 3rd wednesday of the month, I get to post any beauty related stuff in there! This month I decided to do a tag called My Little Sister does My MakeUp!

I basically asked my little sister, Noreen, to do my make up however she likes! I think that beside not knowing what a "palette" is, she's got a pretty great instinct. I can only imagine how good she'll be at it once she's ready for them! In this video you could also catch a glimpse of some of my favorite make up items spread all over my coffee table!

I chose varieties of products from Lipstick, to Lip Liner, to Eye Shadow, Foundation, Bronzer, Powder, Blush, Highlighter, Concealer, Eye Liner, Mascara and Brushes!

There are a few eye shadow palettes in this video, TBS one that I've shown on my Body Shop favorites, Rimmel London's small (but very pigmented) palette, and my favorite, Naked Basics palette, which I adore so so so much. The colors are perfect, not too powdery and very pigmented. I also got 4 Loreal Color Infallible in the colors Sassy Marshmallow, Burning Black, Pebble Gray, and Metallic Lilac. Though the colors are absolutely amazing, I don't know how I feel about how powdery this product is!

 You might have not seen these couple of lip-liners if I hadn't shown you this picture, but they are Yves Saint Laurent and absolutely amazing! I rarely use them, but it's such a great line, I think that they're quite worth it if you're such a lip-liner girl!

HEY LOOK! these are my babies! I know you're not suppose to have favorites, but the THIRD & FORTH rows from left are my favorites! They're also the high end products, like Yves Saint Laurent Volupté Sheer Candy in number 7, Chanel Rouge Allure 06 Silhouette, MAC Ruby Woo & See Sheer, and Benefit's Lip Gloss!

 I also got some travel size Clinique products like spray, make up remover, and mascara (which is absolutely amazing but sadly isn't waterproof :( ) AND a few other exciting things, if you remembered the wish list I made a few months back, I wanted a Wake Me Up foundation, Rimmel Bronzing Powder and the Stay Matte Powder, I got them all! YEAY! They're absolutely amazing, I just wish Rimmel would invest a little on packaging, because their products are fantastic, but the packagings aren't so!

My friend Tanya got me the triple tints from Benefit, I have been loving Sun Beam so much, it's just such a nice highlighter, makes my tan skin look very bright and goddess-like. Whilst in Alexanderplatz, Berlin, I got myself that brown mascara from Benefit. I didn't know that by using brown, your eyelashes look a lot more thin and natural. It gives like an after-cry effect, which I really like! 

I have stopped using foundation everyday because I don't want to ruin my skin, so instead, I got a CC Cream from MaxFactor, I think that it works very well and it's very light for college, everyday use.

BELOW IS NOREEN'S LOOK CALLED "Monster Barbie." GO figure why it's called that ;) 

While Noreen is very talented at using amazing products and still turning me looking like poo, I took the opportunity for a revenge and made that angel mouse even prettier (staying away from eyeliner and mascara because I don't want to hurt them big eyes.)
